About

Drone Reporter is built by Tobias Morville in Denmark. He is the only person working on it so far.

The founder

Tobias writes the app, the backend and this site. His background is in data science and machine learning. You can check that yourself:

The product

Anyone can report a drone from their phone. The app records where you stand, which way you are pointing and how high you are aiming. Two reports of the same drone from different places are enough to work out roughly where it is, and a trail of reports shows where it went. The map at dronereporter.io/map is open to everyone.

The app is in open beta on TestFlight and Google Play. It is free, and it always will be for the people reporting.

The company

Drone Reporter is operated by Kinami, a business registered in Denmark. The same entity is named in the privacy policy and the terms.
